Poem: Memories of...

This poem was originally posted not long after I wrote it, in my mirrored window blog ( http://bit.ly/poem112804 ).  At some point since then, myspace made several upgrades and changes and the original formatting of my poem was lost.  I am re-posting it with the original formatting as I can best remember where the line breaks all were.

Good thing I capitalized most, if not each line, lol... I'm just not sure exactly where the double line breaks were..

Memories of . . .

Knowledge is divine
Conceived
Received
With open minds
Open hearts
And open souls
Are those that perceive
By the will of the great one
The plan
The Way
The meaning
The why of things
Occurred
Happening
To come
The future
Revealed
In waves
In pieces
Scraps
Shredded strips of heaven
In visions
I have had
Memories dreamed
Gifts hard to cherish
In the form of
Flashes
That repeat
Hauntingly
In my mind
Is my curse
A scene
In purgatory
Of the forsaken and lifeless
Unwanted planet of the lost
Battered beaten
Angered confused
Used abused
Neglected casted-off
Souls

The sound of
A melody
The pattern of the angels
The guardians
The overseers
The messengers
Above all
Eternally patient
Committed guiding leading
Those who still believe
In the eternal one
Draining me
Spiritually

I feel
Tired continuously
Undernourished hungry
Wanting more
But afraid I am
Of things seen I have
I want
It to stop
The searching seeking
Their calling and
Uwe! crying
Out to me
I am needed
I am only one
I am alone
Without you
I cannot be
Here nor there
For my people

***Footnotes:
-LINE "Uwe! crying" = refers to Biblical *weeping* but with a much deeper sense of MANA
--The final LINE "For my people" = refers to Na Kanaka Maoli and my Hawaiian heritage.
